    Groote Eylandt Sports Fishing offers multi day fishing charters using the latest Shimano equipment and a selection of specific terminal tackle. Target bluewater species like Sailfish, Spanish mackerel and Golden snapper, on the beautiful 25foot Keywest Bluewater vessels, powered by twin 150 horse power Yamahas. Groote Eylandt in the Gulf of Carpentaria offers some of the most diverse fishing grounds in the world, including some 300 square kilometres of prime, virtually unfished water. Four main areas cater for every angling experience: reef, bluewater sportfishing, estuary and fly fishing. When you return from your day out fishing, relax around the pool or in Seagrass restaurant at the lodge and talk to the chef about having your catch cooked and prepared. Accommodation is in waterfront bungalows at Groote Eylandt Lodge, offering spectacular sunset views. The island also has some of the most prolific and best preserved Aboriginal rock art in Australia, with the option to visit sites on request.

    100% payment is required at least thirty (30) days prior to departure. Failure to adhere to the payment policy may result in the cancellation of your booking.

    Due to the extensive organisation involved with touring a strict cancellation fee will be applicable to compensate for costs and lost revenue. Once a booking is made the following cancellation fees will apply:

    Within 7 – 30 days of departure = 25% of Fare
    Within 7 days – 48 hours of departure = 50% of Fare
    Within 48 hours of departure = 100% of Fare
    If you fail to join a charter/tour join it after departure or leave it prior to its completion no refund can be made. Darwin ~ Groote Eylandt airfares are non-refundable.

    It is necessary to reconfirm tours 48 hours prior to travel – If the touring agent cannot contact you or you fail to confirm your booking it may result in the booking being cancelled and fees charged.
